Weekly Glimpse #10: Live Replays

In a previous Weekly Glimpse, we’ve been talking about how replays work in Heroes of Fortunia. This week, we’ll take a more in-depth look at how live replays work, both when you are attacking, and when you are getting attacked.

Attack Notification

Whenever a new attack on your dungeon starts, you will receive an attack notification in the bottom right corner of your screen. This can happen both whilst you’re in Edit Mode, as well as Attack Mode. However, if the notification pops up while you’re in Attack Mode, you won’t be able to instantly watch the replay, as that would end your attack.

Replay List

In case you are too busy editing your dungeon, or if you are in an attack when you get the notification, you can still tune in to the live feed at a later time from Edit Mode. To do that, you will need to open up your replay list, which displays the 10 latest attacks against you were involved in (including ones that are currently in progress). Since the replay list also shows attacks that you initiated against other players, it’s a great way to learn from other players’ dungeons, if you happen to come across something interesting.

That concludes it for this week’s glimpse into the development process for Heroes of Fortunia.
